I really wanted to try Bison meat, I heard many good things from a local restaurant owner and, although he didnt have any to prepare, I was determined to try and find some so I can taste it for myself. After a quick stop to my local farmers market, I found some fabnatstic filet cuts and was pumped to get started cooking away in the kitchen.
The better red meat
Bison meat is really healthy! It’s extremely lean and it is often called the “better” red meat thanks to their healthier lifestyle and diet. They graze on grass and are not fed commercial feed or grains. They are also not subjected to drugs, chemicals and hormones.
